Refund policy
ÖSEDUM'S LIGHTING — REFUND POLICY
We want you to love your lighting. If something isn't right, this policy
explains how cancellations, returns, and refunds work at Ösedum's Lighting.
1. CANCELLATIONS
- Orders can be cancelled free of charge any time before they ship. Just
contact our support team as soon as possible.
- Once an order has left our warehouse, a processing fee of 2% of the order
total may apply if the order is recalled.
- If a tracking label has been created and the shipment is already in transit,
a fee of up to 15% may apply to cover carrier and handling costs.
- Custom or made-to-order fixtures cannot be cancelled once production has
begun, as they cannot be resold.
2. RETURNS & REFUNDS
We accept returns within 60 days of delivery when one of the following applies:
- The product arrived defective or damaged.
- The wrong item was shipped.
- The item does not match its description.
- The item is unused, in its original condition and packaging
(change-of-mind returns).
For anything not listed above, reach out to support@osedums.com with a short
explanation and photos, and we'll do our best to help.
2.1 IMPROPER INSTALLATION OR HANDLING
- Refunds or returns are not accepted for products damaged by improper
installation, use, or handling — whether by the customer or a third party
such as a hired electrician.
- Please follow the installation and usage instructions included with each
fixture. Our team is happy to advise before you install.
3. SHIPPING COSTS ON RETURNS
If an item is defective, damaged on arrival, or shipped in error, Ösedum's
covers the return shipping. In all other cases, the customer is responsible
for return shipping costs.
- Returns due to customer or third-party handling errors are at the
customer's expense.
- Ösedum's is not liable for secondary costs such as electrician or
installation fees.
4. RETURN AUTHORIZATION
Before sending anything back, please contact support@osedums.com to receive
your return address and instructions. Returns sent without prior authorization
cannot be accepted.
5. REFUND PROCESSING
- Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to
the original payment method.
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your
bank or card provider.
